Celebrate Recovery Media Ministry Team

The Purpose of the Celebrate Recovery Media Ministry is to create an atmosphere conducive to the movement of the Spirit of God through Praise & Worship, by utilizing multimedia technology in concert with the Celebrate Recovery Praise Team & the Celebrate Recovery Teaching Team.  Also, we will strive to be a conduit for individuals struggling with their hurts, habits, and hang-ups to have a meaningful interaction with our risen savior, Jesus Christ.

3 Objectives of the CR Media Ministry Team:

  • To create and run a smooth flowing media performance consisting of Media Shout, lighting, video & camera work in concert with the music and teaching that will advance rather than obstruct the worship experience of attendees.
  • To develop a cohesive committed team of ministry personnel that are cross-trained on all equipment; so that at anytime there is a fluid rotating team of media team members able to effectively help create an atmosphere of praise & worship.
  • To offer opportunities for individuals to serve the Lord through the exciting area of Multi-media.


Media Positions & Description:

Media Shout Technician – Individual would be responsible for being trained and providing training to other team members in the creation and execution of Media Shout Scripts for Celebrate Recovery.  Individual would be responsible for ensuring that all material in the service performs at an optimal level.   Including but not limited to: song cues, videos, slideshows, etc.  As well as ensuring that the lyrics and teaching points being shown on the screen are in sync with the CR service.

Camera Operator – Individual would be responsible for filming entire service, including close up shots, solos, and speakers.  Eventually this will expand to multiple camera operators.  Individuals would be trained and able to train others on how to operate camera, monitor, and DVD recorder.

Video Mixer – Individual would be responsible for operating the video mixing table in the sound booth.  This includes being familiar with the styles of transitions approved for the CR service, and how to apply them.  This individual would also communicate during service with Camera Operators to create and exhibit high quality professional shots of the musicians on the screen during praise & worship.  Individual would be responsible for being trained and training others on how to use the mixing board, as well as developing the ability to time the transition from video to lyrics and vice versa.

Lighting Technician – Individual would be responsible for operating the house and stage lighting effects during the CR service.  Individual would also be responsible for being trained on and training others on any and all light related equipment.  Individual would co-ordinate with Media Production Director to have pre-set lighting effects to match Media Shout backgrounds, as well as controlling the lighting atmosphere during the teaching time.
