Central Care Mission is a Christ-centered men’s rehabilitation program for those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Because long-term addiction usually leads to homelessness and loss of relational and social support, it is a full-time residential program. The program is a 6 – 24 month commitment. At Central Care men participate in the addiction program while at the same time having a safe place to live and put their lives back together. Our vision is this: Transform a man’s heart and you transform the man, transform a man and you transform his marriage, transform his marriage and his family is transformed, transform the family and you transform the community.
We call our program The Matrix.
Introduction to CCM
Central Care Mission is a long-term resident program for men.
Central Care Mission was formed in 1987. It was relocated to 4027 Lenox Boulevard in early 1990.
It presently operates as a Florida 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Corporation.
We call our program The Matrix. The Matrixhas five components:
The Matrix operates in Four Phases: Phase One—Discovery. Phase Two—Transformation. Phase Three—Freedom. Phase Four—Independence.
Our mentoring program is designed for residents who have been in the program for 6 months. With these mentor connections they build healthy, supportive relationships with men who provide their accountability, direction, and experience.
We currently feed 30 men breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a monthly budget of $500. We are able to do this with generous donations from a number of local businesses. Another way we accomplish this is through volunteer groups who bring/cook dinner for the men 1 night a month.
