Every Sunday morning at 6:00 a. m. at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, Central Care Mission, in partnership with Compassion Corner and other local ministries, has the opportunity to feed and minister to roughly 150 homeless people in downtown Orlando. The service starts with coffee and a time of praise and worship, and then a speaker brings a message of the hope and love of Jesus Christ. After the message, a hearty complete breakast is served.
In 2011, The residents of Central Care Mission and volunteers from various churches fed over 7,500 people through Good News Breakfast Ministry.
This is a great opportunity to serve the less fortunate in our community. If you are interested in volunteering your time at this ministry please contact Central Care Mission for more information.

Compassion Corner’s foremost goal is to introduce the homeless of Orlando to the love of Jesus Christ by extending a hand in friendship, prayer, biblical instruction, and spiritual encouragement. The Corner not only nourishes the soul, but the body as well. Compassion Corner also provides counseling to assist the homeless in locating jobs, housing and various social services. On Sunday mornings, in Lee Fellowship Hall, Compassion Corner and Central Care Mission provide a hearty breakfast to hundreds of homeless men and women in downtown Orlando.
