Central Care Mission Man

Mentoring

Our mentoring program is designed for residents who have been in the program for 6 months or more.  Through these mentor connections, our residents have the opportunity to build healthy, supportive relationships with christian businessmen who provide for their accountability, direction, and experience.

Mentors are selected from volunteers from men who have a heart for impacting the lives of other men and who are willing to invest time and efforts into success for the residents.  "Mentoring Nights" are conducted at Central Care Mission on the 3rd Monday of every month.  These nights allow the residents to fellowship with their current mentors while addressing a variety of issues.  Over a "Dinnertime" meeting issues are discussed that are relevant to the need of the individual resident followed by a time of social activity including such things as a of fellowship, bon fires, volleyball, boating, fishing, prayer time, and community/group accountability.

The mentoring program is one of the most impactful things we do.  It is our goal to have one mentor for every resident in the program.  Due to scheduling issues, we are consistently looking for more mentors to join our team.

Pray about becoming a part of this integral step in the rehabilitation and recovery process of the men in our community and Contact Spence for furteher information.
